XL: Men's hand. XXL: Large men's hand. Measurements in cm are taken internally. It is very important that there is air around the fingers to allow for free movement inside the mitten. If the mitten fits too tightly around the hand, it will have a cooling rather than warming effect. Measurements should be taken from your longest fingertip, to approximately 5 cm up the hand from the wrist bone. The width should be measured at the base of the thumb, across the hand.
